My view and those who disagree

I started a discussion on my lot about abortion yesterday and have been bombarded with posts from pro choice and prolife supporters. If you would like to stick your two cents in I will provide a linke to the discussion but I wanted to include my original post also.

This is my first post:

I don't support abortion and only believe that a woman should have that option if circumstances apply. What I mean by that is I think abortion as a means of convienance should be illegal.
Murdering a child because someone(and I do mean and adult female)is not responsible enough to protect herself from becoming pregnant should not be grounds for abortion.
There are two sides of every coin and abortion because of rape,incest,disease,complication and a few others are considerations concerning this topic in my opinion.
The thing that bothers me the most about abortion is the methods in which they remove the child. Inhumane methods that even humane societies wouldn't use.When they put a dog to sleep,in theory it is painless. They use sterile needles for inmates on death row,but we cannot have the same decency for a child? Methods that include sterile solution which burns the flesh,partial birth abortions,live fetal births where the baby is left lying to die from lack of oxygen or drowning.
There is nothing okay about abortion.
Abortion in my opinion should be used with reasons other then lack of responsibility.

If you are against abortion due to failed birth control, why is a baby conceived out of rape any less worthy of life? You pro-lifers are so funny. It's okay for a woman who was raped to abort, but a failed form of birth control pregnancy should be carried out because that woman is obvioulsy a sl*t and doesn't need to have sex.

Saline solution has not been used in abortions in 30 years or more. Almost all abortions now are done with a DNC method. Dilation and extraction to be exact. The cervix is dilated and the unwanted mistake is suctioned out. No bloody body parts. No torn limbs. No dead baby. It looks like a heavy menstral flow. I've seen POCs after abortions. I went with a friend of mine to get hers done. Took all of 5 minutes. She asked to see the POC after her procedure and the nurse showed her. It was a clump of blood. No torn arms or dead screaming babies.

I don't know where you live as I didn't check your profile before posting, but at least here in America, we don't use saline solution abortions. We also don't birth live babies and drown them in a bucket of rain water to kill them. At least not as a general rule I should say. There are always going to be a few nutcases that will give birth and then drown them in a tub. That's called murder. Abortion is NOT murder.

Coldsunshine my opinion was pretty much both sides of the coin.I also don't believe I called anyone a sl*t or said that they do not need to have sex. I did say that I think we have been through the hoops of birth control enough in this country to understand how to prevent pregnancy. The considerations for abortions I stated were mainly health related. Abortion due to rape I think should be the victims call.In example if my child was raped and became pregnant I would try to be a supportive mother in her decision. I would educate her about the choices like adoption,but ultimately her health would be my concern as well as the choice she would have to live with for the rest of her life. Call me what you want.Statistically 93% of all abortions are for convenience,6% due to health problems of the mother or child and 1% of abortions occur due to rape and incest. As for the lesson on DNC, I am familiar with it. As for your facts on saline abortions you aren't totally correct,in 2006 over 50 women were reported by the Minnesota Department of Health as recieving saline abortion procedures.Only in march of this year is a new bill being supported to ban saline abortions in Minnesota.In 1999 New York also was still performing saline abortions,so no it hasn't been 30 years.
