Why is it that all members of the lHP deny evil exists? Is it because they really believe that or are they simply afraid to face the consequences of their own actions?
I often hear the LHP talk about Karma but never evil? How can you accept the existence of one with out the other?
Pretty obvious imho. The idea propagated by the lhp is that evil does not exist in and of itself. Only a question of individual interpretation. Now, how can that be reconciled with the concept of Karma? At least for those members of the lhp who insist on attempting to bring Karma in to their doctrines. Does that explain what you ( shockingly ;) ) missed?
Then clearly you are true to your beliefs. Many of the left handed path are not. It was those people I was speaking of. You can not dismiss the idea of evil as a force in the universe and maintain that Karma exists.
I tossed out the idea of these "lhp'ers" being afraid to spark a debate.
Since you don't fall in to that category we can't even argue.
Too bad I love a good debate. :)
evil and good light and dark up and down they all have there balence and without the other they cant exhist no one can deny that they jsut chose to ignore it and karma i cant help but deny becouse i spent 30 years of my life aspiring t be a knight helping anyone who needed it and i have almost never seen the return unless i did something in a past life that was beyond evil i cant beleave in karma
god has done worse things according to the book lol hes egotistical and jealose look what he did to ol luci i persoanly would love to have compatition if i was all powerful lol things would get preaty damn boring without something to strive aganst nature doesnt count lol its nether evil or good it just is and if god was doing that to punish sinners he needs to make something a little bigger like an asteroid the damn planet is full of corupt humans
by the way im not arguing just speaking my mind lol i dont argue people have there own opinions and u may be able to change them but its better to let someone think for themselves
but if there is no evil what is good how do you define good without evil we have a large range of things people do but if that range was un balenced the balence would corect itself by its own means
I believe in balance and I do not believe that any god caused Katrina for the intent of punishment, that is asinine. I also hate the label christians get now a days. In truth there are no christians left in the church, the church lost those when it was over ran by these "nowadays" fanatic "christians" who blame god for their soup being too hot. I was raised in the christian faith. With a father and grandfather as preachers what do you expect. I lost my daughter three years ago to SIDS, I don't blame any god for it. I think when people make their religion and beliefs literally their life they need a vacation. Taking life too serious is stupid it's not like any of us is getting out alive anyways lol
Fell free tom disagre and state your opinion there phantom. After all thats what discussions are all about. ;)
Anyway my understanding of karma is it is an eternal concept. In fact the best advice I ever received regarding Karma was" Live in the eternal. If you can do that you have no need of instructors in the ideas of Karma."
As far as good and evil are concerned they are points on a continuim. What I consider the highest concept of good would be evil to higher developed soul.
No one knows the mind of god. All religions from the beginning have said this. God has no need for slaves. God , the absolute has no NEED of anything. All is his.
The true reason for the being of mankind is unknown, All we do know is what we can perceive and draw from those perceptions.
